Let’s explore Armenia together! During the private tour we will explore the following sites:

  • Khor Virap Monastery, which is an important religious site mainly related to the adoption of Christianity, but
    also one of the best locations to capture Mount Ararat in its greatness!
  • Etchmiadzin Cathedral is the mother church of the Armenian Apostolic Church, located in the city dually known as Etchmiadzin (Ejmiatsin) or Vagharshapat. It is usually considered the first cathedral built in ancient Armenia, and often regarded the oldest cathedral in the world.
  • Zvartnots Temple, situated not far from Echmiadzin (Vagharshapat), is one of the most magnificent
    masterpieces of Armenian architecture and art in the early Middle Ages built in 641-661.

The first place will be the Mother Armenia Monument. It is the female personification of the country and is a statue in Victory Park. Cascade Complex is also present on this trip for visiting, and it is an excellent giant stairway constructed from limestone. Another thing that makes this journey unique is the Opera Theatre House. It was designed by the prominent architect of Armenia, Alexander Tamanyan, in 1933. During this tour you will get acquainted with the most important structures of the city. The next stop is Garni Temple, which is the only Pagan temple in the post-Soviet area. In contrast, the Geghard monastery represents Armenia of the 13th century. The history of St. Geghard is outstanding with the representation of a famous lance used for the Roman Centurion. It pierced Jesus’ post-crucifixion and later moved to Armenia for five centuries in the Geghard monastery.

Set 1900m above sea level and covering 1240 sq. km, the vast expanse of Sevana Lich (Lake Sevan) is the largest lake in the Caucasus and one of the largest freshwater high-altitude lakes in the world.

Sevanavank monastery is located on the peninsula of Sevan. In 305, it was founded by St. Gregory the
Illuminator, who built the church on the place of a pagan temple. The second stop is Tsaghkadzor city. It is a spa town in Kotayk province of Armenia, it is popular ski and climate destination. Here you will also visit wonderful medieval monastery Kecharis, it was built in the early-mid ages.
